Installation#
Stable release#
To install the SEAMM module, run this command in your terminal:
$ conda install -c conda-forge seamm
This is the preferred method to install SEAMM, as it will always install the most recent stable release, and also installs other dependencies, including those that are compile code, not Python.
It can also be installed using pip; however, pip cannot install all the dependencies, so this will not work unless they are installed in another way.
$ pip install seamm
If you don’t have pip installed, this Python installation guide can guide you through the process.
From sources#
The sources for the SEAMM module can be downloaded from the Github repo.
You can either clone the public repository:
$ git clone git://github.com/molssi-seamm/seamm
Or download the tarball:
$ curl -OL https://github.com/molssi-seamm/seamm/tarball/master
Once you have a copy of the source, you can install it with:
$ python setup.py install
